Cabinet Lighting

Under-Cabinet Lighting
Designed and installed by Midway.

Good lighting is the upgrade people notice last and love most: warm LED under the wall cabinets that turns a dark counter into a workspace, and accent light that makes glass cabinets and open shelves glow. Midway designs it into the layout and wires it in clean during install.

Frequently Asked

Under-Cabinet Lighting questions, answered.

Is under-cabinet lighting worth it?
It is one of the highest-impact, lowest-cost upgrades in a kitchen. Warm LED under the wall cabinets eliminates the shadow you cast on your own counter and makes the whole kitchen feel finished. Modern LED runs cool, sips power, and lasts for years. Midway designs it into the layout so the wiring is hidden and the switches land where you want them.
What is the difference between LED strips and puck lights?
LED strips (or tape) run in a continuous line for even, shadow-free light along the whole counter, the most popular choice for task lighting. Puck lights are round fixtures that cast individual pools of light, good for accent spots and shorter runs. Many kitchens use strips under the cabinets and pucks inside glass cabinets or over a sink. Midway specs the right mix for your layout.
Can you add lighting to existing cabinets, and does Midway install it?
Yes to both. Lighting can be added to a new kitchen or retrofit to existing cabinets, with the LED hidden behind a light rail or in a routed channel and the driver tucked out of sight. Midway designs it, supplies the LED, drivers, dimmers, and sensors, and our crew wires it in clean and coordinates the electrician where a switch or circuit is needed.
