Do the builder tools cost anything?
The jobsite calculators come with working with Midway. Create an account and sign in to use them: rough in a roof, wall, deck, slab, or gravel drive and every material falls out. Print a clean takeoff worksheet on Midway letterhead, or send it to us with one button for a real, priced quote.
Do I need an account to buy from Midway Supply?
No. Cash, check, and card are welcome at the counter from day one, no account required to order materials, get a takeoff, or schedule a delivery. An account is one option for established contractors who prefer monthly billing; it is not a gate to working with us.
Can I pay for materials on a credit card and earn points or miles?
Yes. Midway accepts business credit cards, including the major rewards and travel cards. A lot of our builders run their entire material spend through a points or miles card and treat the rewards as part of the project margin, a meaningful perk on a six-figure framing package. Card payments are welcome at the counter, on will-call, and against an open account if you'd rather settle the statement that way.
How do I apply for an account at Midway Supply?
Call (615) 792-5156, email Midway@midwaysupplycompany.com, or stop by the yard at 119 Cumberland St in Ashland City. We collect a brief credit application and a couple of trade references. Midway is selective in credit decisions (terms depend on the contractor and the project pipeline) and most reviews turn around in a few business days.
What payment terms does Midway offer?
For approved contractor accounts, net terms are tailored to the business and the project pipeline. New relationships typically start with a standard arrangement; project-specific terms may be available later when the volume justifies it. Talk to us about what fits your operation.
Can Midway invoice multiple deliveries to a single project?
Yes. Project billing rolls multiple deliveries against one job into a single itemized invoice for AP and job-costing. Useful when a build runs over weeks or months and you want one statement per project, not per delivery.
What does an outside sales rep at Midway do for a contractor?
Every Midway contractor account is assigned a dedicated outside sales rep, not a counter handler, not a rotating point of contact. The rep learns your jobs, your crews, and your standards. They come out to the site with a tape when the plans don't tell the whole story, but the bigger value is what they carry in their head: deep product knowledge across framing, sheathing, windows, doors, siding, roofing, decking, trim, and finish. They can tell you what's available to fit the need, the spec, and the budget, and when a problem shows up mid-build, they're on call to brainstorm options, research alternatives, and chase a manufacturer answer when one's needed. The rep is paid to make your project work; that's the job.
Does Midway provide takeoffs and estimating for contractor accounts?
Yes. Run your own with the calculators above, or send blueprints, a PDF, or a sketch and our estimators will do the takeoff (framing, sheathing, trim, siding, roofing) itemized line by line with current pricing. Most quotes go back same day or next. We'll come to the site to pull measurements when the job calls for it.
Does Midway sell trusses?
Midway offers truss and engineered floor system design through a partner truss manufacturer. We coordinate the engineering and stamped drawings; the finished trusses arrive on Midway trucks. One team. One quote. One yard. Behind every PO. You do not have to manage the truss vendor separately.
Do you have guides or a planning checklist for a build or remodel?
Yes. The Midway team writes practical, no-fluff guides on the products and decisions we see every day: window selection, siding tradeoffs, truss coordination, grade-level lumber. More are added as we write them. For a planning checklist, email Midway@midwaysupplycompany.com or call (615) 792-5156 with the type of project and we'll send back the checklist the team uses internally.
