We work as a partner to the contractors who build here (supplying the whole materials package, staging deliveries against the build cycle, and standing behind every PO) because the contractor's success is what builds the next project. We're not a multi-national corporation, and we don't want to be.

Midway started as a family lumber yard serving the builders of Cheatham County: framing packages, honest counts, and the same people at the counter every morning.

A stocking Ace Hardware store went in on the property, built first as the contractor's consumables backstop, and open to every walk-in since.

Design, trusses, and a real fleet.
The kitchen-and-bath studio, the window-and-door desk, partner-engineered trusses, and a three-tier delivery fleet turned a lumber yard into the whole materials package.

Where We Deliver
Middle Tennessee, on Midway trucks.
Our three-tier delivery fleet runs Middle Tennessee routes only, no over-the-road. Flatbeds with Moffett piggyback forklifts for framing, trusses, decking, and roofing. Box trucks for protected loads: windows, doors, finish goods. Pickup trucks running fill-in deliveries to the site when a crew runs short mid-day. Midway runs the errand so the superintendent doesn't have to. (Will-call pickup at the yard is always welcome too.) We set the lumber on the deck, drop trusses where the framers want them, and leave the site better than we found it.
